Subject: Steve Gibson's eMail System Awakens!

(In case you've forgotten, I'm the guy who wrote the SpinRite hard
disk utility, created the ShieldsUP! Internet security testing system,
did the Iomega Click of Death research, wrote the FIX-CIH virus data
recovery utility and created the ASPI_ME driver installer...etc.etc.)

This is a short note to inform you that my "User Managed eMail
System" will **FINALLY** start doing more than just taking names!

Since many of you have been subscribers for years, and I've never sent
more than that ONE note about the Google search engine, I am sending
this short "wake up note" to remind you who I am, that you had joined
my system sometime in the dim past, and to ask you to expect a brief
monthly update -- if you enabled those in your profile -- which will,
henceforth, actually occur near the beginning of every month!

If you regret joining my system, the link at the bottom of this note
will take you directly to your personal page where you can review,
edit, or easily delete your membership. You are also invited to look
around a bit to see what I've been up to (I've been busy!) ... though
I'll have more on that in just a few days (which you will ONLY receive
if you have enabled the "brief monthly update." See your profile page).
